Isolator Switch

Main difference between a circuit breaker and a disconnector is that it operates in a different way and does not work the same way. The circuit breaker is mainly able to isolate the circuit, and it has an arc suppression device that can cut off the current. And generally speaking, it can start when the current is overloaded, or it can automatically trip when a fault occurs, and it is for remote power control.

Isolating switch has the function of an isolator, which can play the role of disconnecting and protect the safety of the staff. One difference is that it does not have arc suppression equipment, it can only cut off the no-load current, and it can only be operated normally by manual operation.
